David Bartlett Rees (8 May 1936 – 22 May 1993) was a British author, lecturer and reviewer, known especially for children’s and young adult fiction. For “The Exeter Blitz”, he won the 1978 Carnegie Medal from the Library Association, recognising the year’s best children’s book by a British subject.
